enamel reshaping
This procedure is ideal where minute and conservative adjustments are required. It involves removing microscopic amounts of enamel, the hard substance covering the surface of the teeth, and polishing the area to leave a smooth surface.
procedure
A small bur (polisher) is used to remove a tiny amount of tooth surface to provide a slightly different shape. A diamond polishing paste is used to smooth the area on which we have worked, once the desired shape has been achieved.
candidates
As we get older the biting edges of our teeth can wear slightly and the teeth appear squarer at the sides. Reshaping gives a rounded, much younger looking shape to the teeth which can, with very little effort, make you smile and therefore you, appear younger.
